Seminar Hosting Information
The Shuri-Te Bujutsu-Kai conducts seminars & workshops in the United States, Canada and Europe. We would be glad to help your school or organization host a seminar or workshop.
We can perform a one-day, two day or three day weekend seminar, with five to seven hours of instruction per day. We also conduct shorter training workshops during the week. The weekday workshops are usually a two to four hour training session. We are happy to tailor the seminar or workshop to fit your needs.
Seminar Planning Services:
To help make hosting a seminar easy and trouble-free, here are some services that we can provide. We can design a seminar flyer for your use, to handout, mail-out and e-mail. Also we can send the flyer out via our e-mail list in your state and surrounding states. We will custom design a seminar certificate of participation for this event with a place for your signature that you can present to each seminar attendee.
Seminar Fee:
Our goal is to make sure that the seminar or workshop is beneficial to you academically as well as financially. We have a vested interest to helping you make this event successful. There are standard fees for conducting a seminar or workshop (per day or multi-day price). Also travel fees may apply depending on location/distance and days traveled. For complete details please contact Troy J. Price at troysbudo@nc.rr.com or 919-360-7224

Designing a Seminar Flyer:
- Once you choose a date (see list below), there is some information we need from you in order to start working on a seminar flyer:
- How many days and hours of training? (Seminar schedule, start and end times)
- Seminar location: (School name & street address)
- Seminar cost, what do you want to charge those attending the seminar? (Pre-registration price, day of event at the door price)
- Contact information for the seminar: (Name, phone#, e-mail, website)
- Seminar Topics: (Choose from the list above the seminar subject areas you would like to cover)
- Also please provide an individual photo of yourself to put on the flyer as the host and a list of your martial arts ranks.
Once the seminar flyer has been designed we will send you a proof copy as a PDF file for your review. After you receive the PDF please just let us know if we need to make any corrections, changes or additions.
